Vista College offers the training you need to seek an entry-level position in various in-demand trades. You’ll also be able to complete your training in two years or less.

Cosmetology Certificate of Proficiency — If you’re a creative individual who possesses a keen sense of style and beauty, a career in cosmetology could be for you. Our certificate program encompasses areas such as coloring and bleaching, hairstyling, facials, and treatments. In less than a year, you’ll be prepared to sit for and pass the Texas Cosmetology Exam.

HVAC Training Program — Have you ever considered putting your strong mechanical aptitude to good use in a career as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician? By enrolling in our HVAC training program, you can develop skills that can help you seek an entry-level position installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment.

Trades Management - HVAC Associate Degree — In addition to helping you learn essential HVAC technical skills, this Degree program will prepare you to seek a management role. In as little as 80 weeks, you’ll gain a solid understanding of valuable business and management concepts such as financial statement and break-even analysis. You’ll also learn how to deliver superior customer service.

Electrical Technician Diploma — If you’re interested in working with electricity, you’ll need to know how to read blueprints, connect circuits, and replace fuse boxes. This Diploma program enables you to master these and other related skills in as little as 40 weeks. Upon completion, you’ll be ready to seek an electrical mechanic apprenticeship role.

Trades Management - Electrical Technician Associates Degree — This 80-week program combines basic electrical mechanical instruction with management training. It’s ideally suited for anyone who wishes to pursue a management career in the trades. It’s also ideal for someone interested in establishing an electrical mechanical contracting business at some point.
